GETTING TO KNOW YOUR BEURER GERMANY MG 185 MASSAGE DEVICE
Trigger point massages can either relax the muscles or be stimulating and work effectively to relieve strained muscles, aches, and fatigue. This deep tissue massager provides a powerful, intensive massage for the thighs, calves, shoulders, arms, and back region (excluding the spine).
It is very important to read the instructions for use to get the most from your MG 185, including how to charge the advice, how to activate the different intensity levels and programmes, and how to turn the device on and off. 

INITIAL USE & NOTES ON CHARGING
Before using the MG 185 Massager for the first time, charge it first for a minimum of 3 hours by connecting the SUPPLIED mains adapter to the massager. 
Please only use the supplied mains adaptor to charge your device.
The battery should provide a reasonably long battery life (maximum 5.5 hours when fully charged and used at low intensity). The higher the intensity, the shorter the battery life. 
Charge the massager again as soon as only one red LED flashes when operating the device.
The device must be switched off at the main switch at the bottom of the grip when not in use, to prevent full and regular discharge of the battery. 
Ensure the battery is fully charged and the device is fully switched off before storing the unit for extended periods.

NOTE
The massage treatment must feel pleasant at all times. A slight bruise may well occur - this is a positive therapeutic effect as the use of the massager can encourage blood flow. In isolated cases, areas of redness may also occur on the skin. If you experience excessive skin irritation, stop using the massager and consult a doctor. Depending on how tense or tight your muscles are, we recommend using the device for approximately 10 minutes on the area you wish to treat (legs, shoulders, arms and back).  The device automatically switches off after 10 minutes. 

AUTOMATIC SWITCH-OFF
Please note the device automatically switches off after 10 minutes to prevent injury and burnout of the device. Never use the device for periods of longer than 15 minutes (risk of overheating). Allow the device to cool down for at least 15 minutes before using it again. NB: If you exert too much pressure on the device during use, it will stop briefly to protect the motor from burnout, and to protect your body.

> Do not use the device if you suffer from a medical abnormality or injury in the area to be massaged (e.g. slipped disc, open wounds) 
> Do not use the device if you wear a pacemaker.
> Do not use the device during pregnancy.
> Under no circumstances use the device for massaging the area around the heart.
> Never use the device on swollen, burnt, inflamed, or injured skin and body parts; on cuts, capillaries, varicose veins, acne, couperose, herpes or other skin diseases; on the head; on the face (eyes), the larynx or other particularly sensitive body parts; on the spine; in the pubic area.
> Do not use the device after the consumption of medicines or alcohol (reduced cognition!).
> You should consult your doctor before using the device, especially if you suffer from a severe illness; if you have a pacemaker, implant, or other aids; if you suffer from thrombosis; if you suffer from diabetes; if you are suffering from pain, the cause of which is unknown
