Measurement accuracy:
Ear: +/- 0.2 degrees Celsius: 35.5 to 42.0 degrees Celsius
In remaining measurement range: under/equal 35.5 and over/equal 42 degrees Celsius +/- 0.3 degrees Celsius
Object: +/- 4% or +/- 2 degrees Celsius at -20 to 100 degrees Celsius
Room: +/- degrees Celsius: 0 to 50 degrees Celsius
Note: The sensor tip should be cleaned of dirt before measuring, otherwise erroneous measurement results may occur, and with our FT 58, it is important that the protective caps are correctly fitted. If they do not “snap into place,” they may slip off the device and there may be deviations.
Battery Use: Non-rechargeable batteries have a voltage of 1.5V. Rechargeable batteries generally have a voltage of 1.2V. If using rechargeable batteries, you may therefore find they need to be replaced more frequently.

- How much is delivery, and how long does it take?
- Free on orders of R650 or more; orders below R650 pay R95. Usually 2 to 3 working days from the day we send your order, anywhere in South Africa.
- How long is the warranty?
- 5 years from the purchase date on this product. Registering it online makes a claim quicker; keep your receipt as well.
- My product is faulty. What do I do?
- Email warranty@beurer.co.za with your proof of purchase and a description of the fault. We collect the product, our technical team in Johannesburg assesses it within 5 to 7 working days, and we email you the outcome. If the fault is covered, we replace the product.
- Can I return it?
- Yes, within 30 days of delivery if it is unused, in its original packaging with all accessories. We arrange and pay for the courier. For hygiene reasons, products that have been used on the body cannot be returned.
- Where can I find the manual?
- Under Downloads on this page. Every product also comes with a printed manual.
- Where do I find spare parts and accessories?
