PREREQUISITES FOR TAKING MEASUREMENTS CORRECTLY

> Place the scale on a smooth, flat, and stable surface such as tiles or wooden flooring. Do not use on carpets.
> Wherever possible, weigh yourself at the same time each day (ideally in the morning), after using the toilet, on an empty stomach and without clothing.
> Wait approximately 15 minutes after getting up so that water stored in the body can distribute evenly.
> Avoid weighing yourself after unusual physical exertion.
> Body composition measurements must be taken barefoot. The soles of the feet may be lightly dampened if required.
> Stand with your feet positioned on the stainless-steel electrodes. Your legs must not touch each other during measurement.

LIMITATIONS

> Diagnostic scales calculate BMI within a predefined height-to-weight range. Individuals who are very tall with low weight or very short with high weight may not be able to use the BMI function correctly.
> The height-to-weight ratio does not affect the accuracy of the weight measurement itself, which remains correct up to the scale’s maximum capacity.
> Inaccurate or implausible results may occur for children under 10 years, performance athletes, or people with certain medical or physical limitations (e.g. oedema, osteoporosis, or those taking cardiovascular medication).
