Important Use & Safety Information:

• Electromagnetic compatibility warning: Device may malfunction near other electronic devices-avoid using in close proximity to other powered devices
• The display showing "Lo" in combination with the degree symbol "°C", together with an acoustic signal indicates that the thermometer is ready for measurement (this is not a battery change indicator).
• If the display shows "Lo" or "Hi" alone, the thermometer indicates that the measured temperature is too low or too high
• There will be some difference between the different body measurements. Most accurate readings are obtained via rectal measurement, followed by oral measurement.
• Armpit measurements are less accurate and should be used for quick checks. This measurement cannot be recommended from a medical point of view. The thermometer should be left under the armpit for at least 5 minutes, even after the acoustic signal sounds, to obtain the most accurate reading.
• Always wait for the acoustic signal before removing the device from the body. For all forms of measurement, by prolonging the length of measurement until after the acoustic signal, more accurate measurements can be obtained.
• Do not use rechargeable batteries
• Store and use within safe ambient temperatures (approximately 10 C-40 C). Let the device acclimatize for 15 minutes if exposed to extreme temperatures
• Avoid dropping, biting, or bending the thermometer, and protect it from blows, high temperature or direct exposure to sunlight.
• Clean and disinfect before and after each use (NB do not disinfect the thermometer by boiling it)
